Adelina has settled down in Rome, where she rediscovered her passion for art! Encouraged by her husband, she started pursuing her cake decorating dream. She took several classes locally and is constantly doing a big amount of self-teaching. She has a huge passion for creating unique designs, trying out new techniques, modelling and figure sculpting.
Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember with drawing, sewing and painting being my favourite activities. Although I took private classes throughout my childhood, I didn’t follow an artistic education and got an Economics degree. Afterwards I decided to follow my adventurous spirit and moved to the UK for 7 years and later on, with my husband, to the USA and Korea for one year each. Living around the world completely altered the core of who I thought I was, changed my views on pretty much everything and enriched me tremendously, both artistically and culturally.
For the past 5 years I settled down in Rome, Italy, where I rediscovered my passion for art and encouraged by my husband, I started pursuing my cake decorating dream. I took several classes locally and I am constantly doing a big amount of self-teaching. I have a huge passion for creating unique designs, trying out new techniques, modelling and figure sculpting.
I’ve been collaborating for nearly two years now with a bakery in my area where I make celebration and themed cakes and recently started organizing small parties in our venue and sweet tables for events. I do all my work in a glass cube-space therefore everyone can see what I do and can interact with me. Customers love this and we are recently getting more requests for both cakes and workshops. Being able to teach others will be a huge challenge and a big responsibility for me and I am confident that under Etty’s guidance I’ll manage to overcome my fears and transmit this beautiful art to others. It will also represent an amazing opportunity to meet new people and learn from them too allowing me to become a better person.
