Penguin by Jeanette Becker – The German Cakesmith
Where does the Penguin live?
They live almost exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere.
What does the Penguin eat?
Most penguins feed on krill, fish, squid and other forms of sea life caught while swimming underwater. They spend about half of their lives on land and half in the oceans.
What makes the Penguins so special?
Unlike the wings of other birds, penguins’ wings are more like flippers that make them particularly suited for life in the water. In fact, penguins are so suited for an aquatic life that their agile swimming looks quite similar to a bird flying through the air.
